The March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I wanted to share some more cardmaking inspiration featuring my Simon Says Stamp March 2019 card kit.  This colorful kit came with lots of fun papers, stamps, ink and embellishments.  Card kits help to inspire me to create more.  Sometimes kits come with items you wouldn't normally use for cardmaking.  I have never really been one to use stickers with my cardmaking, but this kit has some really fun stickers and I challenged myself to use those stickers to create a card.  Below you will see the first card I made with this kit.  Let me tell you what came in this kit.  Lucky Rainbow kit includes: 1 exclusive Simon Says Stamp "Amazing" 6x8 clear stamp set, 1 exclusive Simon Says Stamp "Wooly Lucky" 3x4 stamp set, 1 Simon Says Stamp "Lucky" hybrid mini ink cube, 1 Simon Says Stamp Metallic Gold envelope, 2 SSS White envelopes, 1 sheet of Doodlebug Lots 'o Luck Icons cardstock stickers, 12 single-sided sheets of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Scallops 6x6 paper, 1 bag of Buttons Galore & More Lucky Charmz embellishments, 1 sheet of Neenah Solar White Cardstock, SSS cardstocks in Doll Pink, Blue Violet, Orange Peel, Sunshine, and Green Apple.  Super fun!

For this card, I did some Distress ink blending with oval makeup brushes that I purchased from Amazon.  I used the "Wooly Lucky" stamp set on this project.  I stamped the Llama image with Versafine Onyx Black ink then colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers.  I used the stickers from the kit to add fun elements to create the scene. Click the link to see the full video over on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5W7rZuqk3Q

The "Amazing" stamp set is full of great encouraging sentiments.  I plan on making lots of fun cards of encouragement for my friends and loved ones.  I love the large bold sentiments.  There are so many possibilities with this set.

Here is another card I made using this kit.  These colors are so bright and fun.  This was such an easy card to create and also easy to duplicate.  I used a card sketch from MFT Blue Prints 24.  I found the sketch on Pinterest.  I used the Lucky hybrid ink and Simon Says Stamp clear detail embossing powder to create the background.  I sprayed the card with the Imagine Sheer Shimmer Sparkle spray.  I used the bag of embellishments to finish it off.  It's so sparkly!  The pictures due no justice!

I am not associated with Simon Says Stamp in any way.  I only wanted to share one of the ways I gather inspiration for creating.  I am not subscribed on a monthly schedule to receive this kit.  I'm always over on their website shopping for new items and when I see a kit that I like, I purchase it.  I am really thinking about subscribing though!  I just love to share and hopefully help to inspire someone else as well!
