This card is all about texture. I layered two different textures together in the same color. Very pretty. I added sequins, ribbon and glitter glue for extra pop!
Inks used: Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress ink (tea dye)
Supplies: Sizzix -Texture Boutique; and texture fades embossing folders(Tim Holtz Alterations-checkerboard and cracked set); Movers & shapers magnetic dies (mini butterflies set)
5×7card. I used the Sizzix/Tim Holt Alterations texture fades embossing folder (patchwork). I wanted to add texture to the background. I used K & Company TCL Christmas die cut (bells) to embellish. Stamp: The reason for the season by Stampabilities.

This is another one of my Christmas cards. Stamps used on this card are: First Christmas by Stampendous and the baby Jesus image comes from a collection by Recollections.
The first card was made using a stamp set by Hero Arts. I've been creating so many cards with only the traditional red, green, and golds. Thought this purple was beautiful.
So, I decided to make Christmas cards to give out to my co-workers at our office party. Since I was pressed for time, I had to find a way to accomplish this in the least time possible. I picked up a box of pre-designed cards (by the paper studio), stamped on the greetings and added ribbons and embellishments. THE CARDS CAME OUT AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, my big thing right now is trying to get better organized. I have so many crafting supplies and paper, I've run out of space to store everything. I found lots of cool ideas on Pinterest. Most of the ideas include 'repurposing things that are already in my craft room. Will be posting pics of my projects soon. This will be fun!
